At heart, Sofia is interested in building peace through a balancing of government’s current laws—which discourage action with punishment (Bounded Law)—by writing and promoting law that empowers and encourages and celebrates positive action through independence and recognition (Unbounded Law).

She is a graduate of the Santa Barbara College of Law, and is currently studying for the July 2024 California Bar Examination.

I advocated for the creation of a temporary employment agency for the homeless, Merit Ticketing to better support the relationship between police and citizens, and proposed ways to better support the growth and establishment of local businesses.
